Mary Lou and Grover Hahn were good friends of my father. Their hobby was visiting the "vanishing barns of Iowa". This picture tour of Iowa's barns gives you a look at a way of life that is now gone with the wind. And insight into the reason for the demise of the American barn.
This is a collection of stories from the friends of James David Seibel, a very memorable character indeed. Be aware that there is some rough language in this sequence, but it's necessary to get an honest view of my cousin.
The Chronicles of the Noble Order of the Last Man
Have you ever read the Charles Dickens novel The Pickwick Papers? Well the Noble Order of the Last Man was a real live group something like the Pickwick Society. As a serious scholar of history, I am endeavoring to assemble the complete story of this stellar assemblage. As I diligently put together the pieces of this puzzle, I shall post my progress here.
