We lived in Italy for 7+ years and in Japan for 2 years as part of this work experience. I retired from CNA in Jan 2001; I have worked about one-half time consulting with them since my retirement. Cheryl and I have been taking one or two cruises each year, some to fairly exotic places. We next are cruising from Singapore to Shanghai, China via Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Okinawa, late Nov to late Dec 2009.
We live in Broward County, site of the famous "hanging chad" fiasco of the 2000 election (we had yet to move here).
It's hard to believe that it's been almost 50 years. I wonder if we will recognize old friends and acquaintances; I do still have all my (ever-graying) hair!
My wife, Cheryl, and I are retiring this December, and we will be on our way south to Coral Springs, FL. We sold our home in Rockville in August and are camping out in a 1-bedroom apartment until January.
It's been an interesting 40 years since Wheaton High. We've lived in Italy (3 times) and Japan. We have two children, a son aged 29 and a daughter aged 24.
