At the ripe young age of 67, I'm self employed working at several jobs with no end in sight. I am very fortunate, HAPPY, fat and (as always) sassy and insanely independent. Born in Baltimore, Commodore Joshua Barney was a hero in the nascent navy during the Revolutionary war as well as the War of 1812... a fascinating, courageous character. His life story as avid patriot, adventurer and compatriot of the founding fathers is the stuff of which movies are made. Check him out; Lots of info online. My home (in Howard County) once belonged to him and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Life stats are: two marriages (delightedly single - since the mid eighties), one fabulous daughter, two almost "normal" sons, one being a passionate and accomplished pianist - the other an indefatigable businessman and two much loved grandsons. Spencer is a charismatic, gregarious and ambitious young man currently a University senior and Brenton (the "real" student) is a shy, delightful, brilliant high school junior devoted to lacrosse. They bring enormous joy to my life.
